Waterman Pens
Choosing a Waterman pen as a corporate gift is a decision about what it communicates as much as what it is. The four models cover different occasions.
- The Allure is the most contemporary model, clean and lightweight, assembled in France. It suits a personal and thoughtful gift without the formality of a heavier pen, such as new client gifts, individual recognition, and personal milestones.
- The Expert is the defining Waterman model for corporate gifting, available in lacquer or stainless steel. Its tapered profile makes it the first choice for long service presentations, retirement gifts, and senior client gifts across professional services and finance.
- The Hemisphere is a stainless steel pen with palladium detailing and a slimmer profile than the Expert. It suits a recipient who will use the pen on their desk and in meetings every day, and whose preference runs toward understated rather than formal.
- The Perspective is the most architecturally individual model, with a cylindrical body and geometric patterning on the barrel band, suited to a senior or significant presentation where the pen's character is part of the message.
A firm giving a long-serving EA a retirement gift selects an engraved Waterman Expert because the occasion deserves a pen that will sit on the desk for years and be used rather than stored in a drawer. The engraved name makes it specifically hers, and that small detail is what separates a recognition gift from a corporate item with a logo.
All models come in ballpoint and rollerball and can be engraved or printed. Each arrives in the Waterman gift box.
Before You Order
What is the minimum order?
Minimum orders are low for this range. Regular production takes 5–10 business days from artwork approval.
How is the engraving applied?
Laser engraving removes material from the surface to produce a permanent mark, revealing the metal beneath on lacquer-finish models for a clean contrast, or creating a subtle tonal mark on stainless steel. The engraving area varies by model and typically accommodates a logo, a name, a date, or a short message.
Can a personal name be added to the engraving?
Yes, adding the recipient's name alongside the company logo is one of the most common requests for long service and retirement gifts, and the engraving area on most models accommodates both. A named pen is kept and used rather than put aside, which is the point of choosing a Waterman for these occasions.
Should I choose ballpoint or rollerball?
Ballpoints use oil-based ink and work in all conditions, making them the safer default when the preference is unknown, while rollerballs use water-based ink for a smoother, more fluid experience that many writers prefer. If the preference is known it's worth acting on; ballpoint is the right default when it isn't.
